We asked Emma a few questions about her Apprenticeship and winning this award...

1) What is your Apprenticeship?

Business Administration

2) Can you describe some benefits of undertaking Apprenticeship based training?

It’s great to be able to earn whilst you learn; you gain a lot of skills that you wouldn’t necessarily get from a classroom. Every day at the Parks is different which is what makes it such an interesting place to work.

3) What was your reaction to winning your award?

Shocked, didn’t expect to get an award.

4) What would you recommend to anyone else considering an Apprenticeship/taking on an apprentice?

I would recommend taking on apprentices, because we are hard workers who learn skills that are invaluable to any employer. I would definitely recommend to anyone thinking about doing an Apprenticeship to go for it! You learn so many new skills and gain qualifications through working.
